TINGO:

Tingo is a fun game for all ages!  It is similar to Bingo, but the TINGO games use playing cards.  4 players per table with one deck of cards (52); cards divided into 13 cards per player.  TINGO dealer draw a card and it shows the suit and number.  One of the 4 players has the same card and takes it out.  One player has to takes all 13 cards out to win the game.  TINGO has 5 rounds and one bonus round with more than 60 players.  Simple and fun!  Another simple fun game: Totto...it is like a lottery.  Player gets to choose a number before the TINGO games begin.  In the middle of the TINGO games, dealer will draw one number out of 1-100.  When the number is announced, dealer will look at the Totto paper to find out who is a lucky winner.

BankNight

This event happens after Regular Meeting on a monthly basis.  The BankNight has two parts: Members and Tickets.  Members have their own membership numbers shown on their AAD's ID card.  All numbers are printed on chips and chips are put into a large screened "barrel".  Members in turn will draw numbers to match members' ID numbers to win the prizes.  Members MUST BE PRESENTED AND HOLD A TICKET to claim the prizes.  If Members are not presented, the prizes will increase next month.  Tickets may be bought through the night before the regular meetings start.  Tickets are like lottery.  Players will try their luck to win prizes.  Tickets are drawn after the Members' prizes.

DID YOU KNOW?

Cure for headaches: Take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.

Clean a vase. To remove a stain from the bottom of a glass vase or cruet or coffee pot, fill with water and drop in two Alka Seltzer tablets.

Potatoes will take food stains off your fingers. Just slice and rub raw potato on the stains and rinse with water. Do your friends a favor. Pass this timely (and some not-so-timely) information on to a friend or two.

USEFUL SECRETS

Candles will last a lot longer if placed in the freezer for at least 3 hours prior to burning.

To clean artificial flowers, pour some salt into a paper bag and add the flowers. Shake vigorously as the salt will absorb all the dust and dirt and leave your artificial flowers looking like new! Works like a charm!

To easily remove burnt on food from your skillet, simply add a drop or two of dish soap and enough water to cover bottom of pan, and bring to a boil on stovetop.

Spray your TUPPERWARE with nonstick cooking spray before pouring in tomato based sauces and there won't be any stains.

REMINDER:

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME is on MARCH 14TH

And it will be ONE HOUR FORWARD.
